Amy Skeen | Girls in the Game - Chicago, IL

Chicago executive committed to enhancing girls health and fitness through sports
Amy Skeen, Executive Director of Girls in the Game (GIG), a non-profit organization that encourages girls in the Chicago area to participate in sports activities for better health and fitness, has had her work cut out for her. Obesity statistics in Chicago exceed the national trends. Seventy-nine percent of children are either not offered physical education in school or have it only one time per week.
