The National Council of Youth Sports CEO Summit & Legislative Fly-In exceeded all expectations.

The meeting had the best attendance, the best program, the best revues.

Don't take our word for it, here's what some of the attendees had to say...

“Kudos on the terrific CEO Summit in Washington DC on June 19-21, 2007. Your touches of excellence were apparent everywhere - organization, program, food functions, etc. You can be justifiably proud of your efforts on behalf of the Summit. I was pleased to be able to attend. I found the Summit helpful and educational. I look forward to future similar opportunities from NCYS. Thanks again for a first class experience at the Summit.”

“Outstanding job on the meeting NCYS meeting. The sessions were very topical--dead on point for our organization. I really liked the aggressive pace. It forced the presenters to be quick and concise. You did a very special job on the awards and recognition. Really important in non-profit volunteer-based organizations. Thought the Travel Teams discussion was interesting. I met a lot of great people. There may be enough interest in this type of thing to do it more than once a year. I know that budgets are tight, but for the most part the people in the room were decision makers who could find the money if we made it as worthwhile as this one.”

“Congratulations on a fine event. I know the work it takes to organize such an event. You should be commended for your efforts. I am confident we made some inroads for the PHIT bill. Adam and I met with Hillary Clinton at the Council to the Commendants Reception. She said she is very interested in supporting youth sports. We also met with Senator Mel Martinez Thursday afternoon. Again positive feed back regarding youth sports. When the bill reaches the House in due time it appears we have some solid supporters.”

Dear NCYS Board Members,

“I want to express my sincere gratitude for the award that was presented to me. What an honor to be recognized by the NCYS! I have such respect for NCYS as an organization and for each of you individually. I am truly blessed to work with such amazing people everyday. So much has happened in the past three years with NCSI including a tremendous amount of growth during this past year especially. The idea of “teamwork” is so resonant in how we have accomplished what we have. Together we are changing this world and keeping our children safe. I want to especially recognize Sally. She has been a steadfast resource to me and NCSI - always there to inform, lend a hand, give a lead and offer support, inspiration and encouragement. It is a gift to share a business relationship that is also a treasured friendship. Each of you has contributed to the growth and success of our collective goal and I just want to offer a heartfelt thank you. I am so proud of our partnership with the NCYS and am looking forward to continuing the great work we do together. You guys are truly the best!”

“Thanks for inviting me to the Legislative Fly-in last week. I had a great time meeting everyone. Your agenda was compelling and interesting from beginning to end – very rare these days. You are to be commended for putting together such a great meeting. Looking forward to more NCYS activities in the future.”

”Great job! You really pulled the event together. I really enjoyed meeting the people in NCYS. They are a great group and the perfect mix to push initiatives like PHIT to Congress as they are motivated by their own passion to improve the lives of young Americans through sports and physical activity. I was happy to assist you with materials to help promote your agenda and please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help from this end. I look forward to working with you more in the future.”

“Thank you so much for making the meeting such a great experience for us! Both Christianne and I were thrilled by how kind and receptive everyone was and also what a cohesive group of people you have put together, which is amazing considering the diversity of the sports which are represented. What impressed us both was the genuine concern for children and their future that was displayed by all who attended - your values and ethics are to be admired and we just felt right “at home” with everyone! We are so happy to be a part of your organization. You do a wonderful job and we are proud to be associated with you.”
