Sharing Super Exciting News for Youth Sports - Special Observance Recognition!
The National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) would like to inform you that National Youth Sports Week (NYSW) has been added to the National Health Observances (NHO) calendar on This event occurs the week of July 16-21, 2018.

During National Youth Sports Week thousands of youth sports coaches, athletic directors, recreation directors, association members, sponsors, young athletes, and parents across the country show their support focusing on P.L.A.Y.S. ~ Physical activity, Living healthy, Access, Youth development, Safety. All youth sports organizations are encouraged to use National Youth Sports Week as an awareness campaign opportunity to promote your own organization and encourage your members to promote their programs.

The National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) and the Congressional Youth Sports Caucus in celebration of National Youth Sports Week will host a physical activity Expo in a House of Representatives Office Building on Capitol Hill Washington D.C. on NCYS Youth Sports Day. is coordinated by the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is a Federal Government website managed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and is sponsored by the National Health Information Center (NHIC).
