National Youth Sports Day showcases the importance of youth sports. It provides a collective megaphone for youth sports organizations to tell the story about the powerful work you do daily.

Saturday, November 13, 2021, is a Great Day to Play!

GOAL:  Celebrate the positive power of youth sports throughout the United States.

WHO: NCYS, its members, additional youth sports organizations, the young people they serve, the public at large and other key stakeholders.

WHAT: National Youth Sports Day is an inaugural celebration of what will be an annual event promoting the importance and benefits of youth sports, most critically as a means to help achieve the nation’s health and well-being goals.

National Youth Sports Day unites communities across the country around our core belief that every young person has the right to participate in sports in a diverse, equitable, inclusive, supportive and safe environment.

NCYS invites youth sports organizations to join the celebration and highlight the positive power of youth sports in their communities by amplifying currently scheduled events or creating new ones as part of National Youth Sports Day.

National Youth Sports Day is an opportunity for local organizations to join a national movement, to raise awareness, recruit volunteers and increase financial support by calling attention to what they do best – help young people play sports.
